AN ORDINANCE ENCOURAGING ALL FARMERS IN THIS MUNICIPALITY TO SHIFT THEIR FARMING PRACTICE FROM INTENSIVE CHEMICAL FARMING PRACTICE TO SUSTAINABLE ORGANIC FARMING PRACTICE AND TO REGISTER AS MEMBER OF THE DUMINGAG ORGANIC FARMERS ASSOCIATION (DOFA)

This ordinance encourages all resident farmers in Dumingag to shift from intensive chemical farming to sustainable organic farming and to register with the Dumingag Organic Farmers Association (DOFA). It aims to preserve the soil, empower local farmers through innovation and cooperation, and support the LGU's Genuine People's Agenda.
