AN ORDINANCE DECLARING JULY 1 EVERY YEAR AS MUNICIPAL ARBOR DAY, DESIGNATING PUBLIC PLACES AS TREE PLANTING SITES/AREAS, REQUIRING ALL BARANGAYS TO CELEBRATE AND DESIGNATE TREE PLANTING SITES OF ACTIVITY AND CONSTRUCT PLANT NURSERY IN THEIR RESPECTIVE BAR

This ordinance declares July 1 of every year as Municipal Arbor Day to promote tree planting, reforest denuded areas, and prevent soil erosion. It requires all barangays to designate tree planting sites, construct barangay plant nurseries, and maintain planted trees with allotted budgets.
