AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE COCONUT PRESERVATION ACT OF 1995 (RA) 8048 AND PROVIDING FOR MECHANISMS IN THE EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUMINGAG, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR.

This ordinance adopts the Coconut Preservation Act of 1995 (RA 8048) within the municipality to prevent the indiscriminate cutting of coconut trees and protect the local coconut industry. It establishes permit requirements, fee distributions, and monitoring mechanisms implemented by local authorities in coordination with the Philippine Coconut Authority.
